The purpose of Team Performance Training is simple:

Teach you how to become an elite performer.

I started Forcing Function in 2016 with a singular mission—deconstruct the routines, systems, and mindsets for achieving world-class performance in business. I’ve trained hundreds of the world’s most successful founders, investors, and executives, giving them the tools to optimize their productivity and perform at their peak every single day.

In Team Performance Training, I teach my complete system for peak productivity and elite performance. There are fifteen places available by application only to ensure an intimate setting with other high-caliber individuals.

The Program

Team Performance Training consists of ten 120-minute team coaching sessions plus one North Star Session 1:1 with Chris Sparks for a total of over twenty hours of coaching. Each weekly session is a hybrid of teaching, coaching, and implementation.

There is also a dedicated #teamtraining Slack channel in our private client community, The Brain Trust, for problem-solving, accountability, sharing resources, and giving rapid-fire feedback between team sessions.

What’s Included in Team Performance Training?

 

Essential Program ($3475)

Ten Team Sessions (120 min each)

Two hours of team coaching each week. Each session is a hybrid of lecture, coaching, and implementation.

1:1 North Star Session (60 min)

Private one-hour session with Chris to identify your North Star and establish milestones to track your progress for the duration of the program.

Ten Implementation Sessions (30 min each)

Weekly sessions to complete and receive feedback on class action items.

The Brain Trust

Our private client Slack channel for team problem-solving, accountability, sharing resources, and tightening feedback loops between sessions.

Resources and Session Recordings

Lifetime access to all resources including the curriculum, worksheets, and video recordings for all team sessions.

Accelerated Program ($6475)

Five 1:1 Sessions (60 min each)

In addition to all of the above, you will have five 1:1 coaching sessions with Chris Sparks, to be scheduled at your convenience anytime during the program.

Chris will take you under his wing and personally ensure that the next three months are the most productive of your entire life.

Chris currently has a minimum retainer of $10,000 for 1:1 clients, by referral only, so this is an outstanding value if you are ready to take yourself to the next level.

What will I learn in Team Performance Training?

We will teach you how to multiply your output, consistently perform at your peak, and systematically complete your projects faster.

The only thing standing between you and your wildest imagination is becoming the type of person capable of achieving that vision. In short, we will give you the tools to become capable of achieving any goal you choose to pursue.

What is the curriculum?

The curriculum builds and expands upon the recommendations, prompts, and experiments found in Experiment Without Limits. If you downloaded our workbook and thought, “I wish I had time to implement all this,” this program is for you.

Team Performance Training incorporates ideas, techniques, and tools from many different sources. These include frameworks from operations management, behavioral science, systems dynamics, and more.

Most importantly, our curriculum is the culmination of 500+ coaching conversations over the last five years with some of the world’s brightest minds in our ongoing mission to deconstruct excellence.

Who is Team Performance Training designed for?

This program is designed for busy and ambitious leaders at small to medium organizations. We personally review every single application with a hard cap of fifteen spots in each cohort.

Expect a curated mix of founders, executives, and investors. We define “executive” pretty broadly—if you are working on something meaningful, this training is for you.

What are my chances of being accepted into the program?

There are only fifteen spots available in each cohort, so we recommend getting your application in early.

The first four cohorts had a ~25% application acceptance rate. If you’ve made it this far, your chances are likely higher.

We look for two things in each application:

  1. Commitment — Are you ready to show up, be present, and take the actions necessary to achieve results?

  2. Positive Impact — Is the rest of the cohort made better because you are in the room?

We’re not concerned with what you have done. We’re interested in what you can do.

What happens in the team training sessions?

Each team training session is an interactive blend of four elements: presentation, coaching, feedback, and implementation.

  1. Presentation — Walkthrough of core principles and supporting techniques

  2. Group Coaching — Targeted guidance to remove barriers to taking action

  3. Peer Feedback — Revealing blind spots, bottlenecks, and opportunities

  4. Guided Implementation — Immediate application of the techniques to your life and career

Team sessions will be the fastest, most intensely productive (and fun!) two hours of your entire week.

How much time should I set aside?

To achieve maximum results during this program, I recommend setting aside a minimum of four hours per week.

  • 2 hours — Live team session

  • ~1.5 hours — Action Items (implementing these principles into your life!)

  • ~1 hour — Resources (outsource your ongoing learning to us)

  • ~0.5 hours — Implementation session (optional time to collaborate and receive feedback)

  • ~0.5 hours — Group discussions in The Brain Trust

That being said, there is no speed limit for this program. I firmly believe that you will return multiples of anything you are willing to invest.

There is no “homework.” Any investment outside of team sessions is time that you are applying directly to improve your life and grow your bottom line. Any assigned action items are carefully chosen for maximum leverage.

What if I can’t make it to a training session?

This program is designed to be an interactive team experience and “showing up” ready and engaged is 90% of success. We hope you can commit to all of the 10 team sessions, especially the opening session and closing retrospective.

If something does come up last minute and you can’t make it to a session, no worries. Each session will be recorded and shared shortly afterward.

How much access do I get to Chris Sparks?

We intentionally limit the cohort size to fifteen in order to maximize personalized attention and ensure a high level of curation. That being said, this is a team program. At all times, we prioritize any discussion that will most accelerate the team as a whole.

Each team session ends with dedicated time to ask questions specific to your situation. Chris personally gives feedback on any action item submitted and answers every question asked in The Brain Trust.

If you’re interested in hands-on 1:1 attention, we recommend the Accelerated Program. The fifteen Accelerated Program alumni from our first three cohorts experienced the most dramatic transformations both during and after the program.

Are there payment plans available?

Yes. If you prefer, you can pay for Team Performance Training in three monthly installments.

The Essential Program is 3 x $1,495 and the Accelerated Program is 3 x $2,495.

Are there scholarships available?

Yes. For each cohort, we offer two partial scholarships to the Essential Program.

These scholarships are intended for founders and executives focused on creating a positive impact with preference given based on need.
